"We may have a lot of ideas in our head, but sometimes communicating them can be really difficult.

• What causes us to freeze up when we would best be served by being dynamic?

The answer is that we each carry an idea of who we are in our head that traps us. We adopt a social mask that inhibits our creativity. We love to pigeon-hole ourselves as "responsible adults", "serious people", the "firm but fair" boss, the office wag, – in short, we are all playing at being grown ups. But no one has a clue what this really means!

 I would like to suggest that instead of playing at being an adult, we turn off our social editors and allow ourselves to play at being fools.

Logan Murray has been in the comedy industry for over 20 years. He is an accomplished stand-up comedian (performing both as himself and as his alter-ego 'Ronnie Rigsby' at every major comedy club and festival in Great Britain), television and radio writer, comedian and actor, as well as stage-director, author and tutor.

Logan has been teaching comedy since 2000, and has taught over 800 people how to be funny. Many have gone on to become award-winning comedians. He runs public stand-up courses as well as comedy writing and performance courses, together with  tailored corporate workshops, and is in high demand as an individual comedy writing and performance tutor. He also is in held in high regard for his directing skills, having recently directed the acclaimed 'We Are Klang' sketch group, Milton Jones and several shows at the Soho Theatre.
